You should get one from a breeder. The breeder would have all the information you would need to know about your pet and it will be unlikely that it will have a parasite. And if you want to save one from petsmart, they would replace it and another would have to live in the bad conditions. by...

Wow that bird story is crazy. If I let my chameleon bask outside, i'm getting a bb gun so I can keep a watchful eye out for birds. If a bird did get my chameleon I would have a reason to be mad. It would be 5 months allowance down the drain.
