Photos of our Veiled Chameleon Xerxes

This is our Veiled Chameleon shortly after we bought her. She was about 3 months old in this photo. We purchased a female and named her Queen Esther. It was later discovered "she" was a "he" so we changed the name to Xerxes.

This is Xerxes currently; about 10 months old. Here he is waiting for the neighborhood Coopers Hawk to pick him and take him to lunch.

May I ask what "B" names are? After polling the grandchildren, we have settled on "Xerxes." He was the king when Esther was queen.

I have a female Veiled Chameleon purchased online 2-1/2 months ago. I don't know her age when she arrived but she has tripled in size. Can you tell by her colors, markings, etc what age she might be in months? Right now, she will eat 10-12 large crickets per day easily and voraciously...

she is by the window but the temps inside the cage stay around 75 during the day. She has plenty of shade and comes and goes all day all over the enclosure. There's been no wheezing. She only does this when under the basking light. she will open her mouth for about a half minute to a minute...
