Effects of incubation temperature on growth and performance of the veiled chameleon (Chamaeleo calyptratus)… “Incubation at moderate temperatures provided the best conditions for both embryonic and post-hatching development. The highest incubation temperatures were disruptive to development...

    Neonate cannot hatch normally

You should provide some details about the Furcifer pardalis clutch your are talking about (incubation temperatures, medium moisture content, how the clutch is incubated and etc..). When eggs sweat then died that sounds as though there is to much water in the incubation medium. That is to...

    Diapause for panther chameleons

In the wild they go through temperature changes. In a closet or incubator the eggs don’t have a temperature change. I heard that it’s good to start at a cooler temperature and then raise the temperature a few degrees to make it seem like a winter to summer transition. Which is natural. Keeping...

Kinyongia Boehmei - Breeding Project Log

...look great!! I decided my home temperatures were a little too variable for comfort to incubate at room temp. I ended up ordering a Vevcor incubator to try out. I have had it running since Wednesday, and it is keeping very consistent temperatures thus far. I am shooting for a temp of 70...
