• Had a surprising pretty visitor in the yard today. Had to use iPad to take pics - phone was too far away. IMG_0391.jpeg

I hope the pretty turkey birdie finds a good hiding place then…or it can return to my back yard and I’ll protect it. 🤗

Oh no. Having to spend a good amount of time in bed, elevating and icing my knee. There’s no TV or anything to watch…except my sweet and beautiful Ambilobe boys, Mango and Bart. 💗💗 Best view I could ever hope for. 🤗🤗🥰🥰 IMG_7276.jpeg IMG_7278.jpeg IMG_7280.jpeg

Wow nice view hope you feel better soon
I love my beardies with all of my heart, but I swear they don’t have even one brain cell between them. Electra spent the morning ‘digging’ beneath the ramp to her dig/lay bin. I put her in her bin and no digging, but spent the day sitting on the ramp. Then in the other room, Spike spent the day banging his face against the side and door of his enclosure while head bobbing.
Absolutely gutted. 😭 Unexpectedly had to send my beautiful Tabby over the rainbow bridge a few hours ago. Every now and then an animal enters your life that you form a very deep bond with…that was my Tabby. My only solace is that her suffering is over.

Yay! Finally have found a good place for my turtle to be able to live a natural life, yet still be cared for. The cutie can have the life that was stolen from it. Such a beautiful relief. 🤗 I’ll miss it, but to think of it living in a pond with other turtles will more than soothe my heart.

Awwwwww a pond for the little guy. He is going to be soooooo happy.
Spending a fun day baking potting soil. Finally redoing Stella’s bioactive set up, but my giant bag of soil had roaches all in it. 😱 Now I trust none of them and have to bake them all. Criminy!
Oh boy! I now have mystery eggs. Two have what looks to be well formed lizard babies inside and the others appear empty, but may be freshly hatched. Only problem is they weren’t marked or kept in their original positions, so they may have died. (Were dug up by a landscaper) 🥺 Google helped me to find how they are supposed to be so I’ll give them a chance and see what happens.

Not looking so good, but Snake Discovery taught me, “incubate until there’s no debate”.

I should have known better. Went to Lowe’s just to buy some landscaping bricks to make a new beardie basking platform. $100 in plants later…. At least I did remember to get the bricks.
