Sometimes I wish I lived in Canada for universal health care (amongst many other reasons), but then I remember that...umm... hmm...

Their weather sucks and idk I appreciate the way we're a little crazy down here haha. Helps keep our edge.

So Jevin, one of the arguments against universal healthcare here is that it can take a very long time to be seen for certain things. Thoughts? I personally have no idea, I do agree that our healthcare is a mess.

Honestly depends on the severity as to how long it takes to get seen. Basically if it's more life threatening, the sooner you'll be seen. If you it's something like shoulder surgery, it takes longer as you get referred to specialists and isolated something that you can delay treatment of, depending on the nature of the injury.

Honestly, I like the cold, it reminds us of the struggle of life so we don't go soft. And every area of Canada has a different kind of crazy.

I've actually had an emergency surgery that had it not been done, I would have been sterile if not dealt with in a timely manner and if not dealt with at all, I would be dead.

I too appreciate the cold, but if I had the money I'd move from it and never come back. I also know plenty of tough people warm areas so couldn't soften us too much. US craziness is another level I think haha.

We had a 5 grand hospital bill because my 2 year old burned my 1 year old. They treated it with stuff we could have bought on amazon for $50...
