Currently Archaeology and Geology combined degree however I will be doing Archaeology and Anthropology combined degree with a Geology minor in the fall.
Yeah, currently have plans to do a master's in anthropology focusing on the brain, kind of neuroscience area. The more I learn both through study and personal experiences, the more it is seems that how the brain works may be linked to DNA and how it is manipulated in nerve cells.
That sounds a bit like nature vs nurture, or am I wrong? I wholeheartedly believe that while our life experiences do impact us, how we respond to them and who we are is based on genetics.
Sort of, I believe certain behaviours are engrained into us, while a lot are learned. For example how a chameleon hatches and to my knowledge knows what to do from day 1.
But then with primates, less is preprogrammed, so more is learned, although certain traits like humans comparing things, is engrained into us on a genetic level so to speak.
