My Most Gorgeous f.Veiled

Just wanted to share some very recent pics of Kiwi after her egg laid. I just couldn't believe how beautiful she realy was until I uploaded these pics. Hope you'll enjoy em with me.

are those her receptive or gravid colours or something? I have a female veiled (approx 13 to 14months old) and she has never shown those colours, then again she has not laid any clutches either. She looks awesome.

How long ago did she lay? She still looks gravid to me. The gravid colors should fade away 1-3 after laying. If she stays that coloration for any longer, put her back in her laying bin (or whatever you used). She may have more eggs inside her. They dont always lay them all in one sitting. Goodluck!

no worries she isnt that colour anymore. shes clean of eggs, and yes it did only last a couple days. i have 3 x rays telling me so.

She is quite a lovely female. Camille, my female veiled only shows these colors when she sees my male Luie.

thanks TPM, i am so glad she laid all of them too! i may have to bring her back to the vet though. her gular edema came back
