Thanks for the replies. Dodolah- No it doesn't beat. Im pretty sure its part of the bone because when he eats and drinks i can see it move with the rest of the swallowing mechanism. Hopefully its nothing wrong, but i just wanted to double check with you guys.

Its that little round bump on his neck. Im guessing its the top of the bone or something. But sometimes you can see it even if he's not puffing up or swallowing.
