No, ours are 100% natural and not even fed anything artificial like a lot of keepers do. I suppose I don't know where all they go, but the fields in their area are not sprayed either.
I would definitely take the stingers out at first just to see how things go and make sure he felt comfortable with them first. . . Who knows, maybe I will never try it. . but it is a good idea for an extra option.

Thanks! And yes, these are all my shots, i do photography! I love that hes not camera shy. I would crumble if he went "running" every time i brought out the camera! It took him a few weeks not to hide from it, but hes warmed up a lot to showing off his photogenic sides!
I havent been real happy with my last few orders of crickets & am getting pretty frustrated with that. Ive tried my hardest to keep them alive longer than two weeks & or breed them & have found it impossible.
