I recently found an ad on craigslist who was breeding vields, the photos she supplied showed plump, bright green baby vields and the awesome thing about it was that she was in the same city as me. But my stupid self deleted her number by accident and she removed her ad on craigslist since then...
I've been building my enclosure slowly and it's made of thin plexiglass with holes drilled horizontally on top for ventilation. The top is also made of plexiglass with a large square cut in the middle with a mesh screen net glued to it and it doesn't have a bottom so I can easily lift and clean...
I'll try out a vieled as my first one. I don't want to make a mistake and have a panther poop out on me, I don't want to risk it :(
Well I have a pothos that hangs 2'1/2 feet. I'm going to hang it on the top of the cage and let it grow downwards along with some plastic vines and wooden...
I like landscaping enclosures, but since I will be on a budget. I looked up simple enclosures and I think I will be doing something like this.

I can probably build one out of wood and window screen nets.
I'm being serious. I was just wondering because with tarantulas, all you need to do is keep the supsbrate moist and the humidity will pretty much control itself and just add a waterbowl for drinking. I figured you can do the same thing with chameleons but from what you are telling me its...
Thank you, but I have another question about humidity. Say if I have a certain tank that can maintain 55%+ do I still need to mist it? I've been able to do that with tarantula enclosures, but I know they are two different creatures.
EDIT:Without an auto-mister
HAHAH I KNOW RIGHT!? Jesus... I'm just a huge fan of it. And I guess my maturity level is being judged based on it. I should of been a fan of football instead. I was totally joking about the mirror thing btw.. I've bred leapard geckos, had a blizzard corn snake for about a year, raised 2 igunas...
If my intentions were to troll forums I wouldn't use a username called ForumTroll or anything that relates to my intentions. It would be like playing hide and seek with arrows pointing to your hiding spot or like a terrorist holding a box of bombs in another country wearing a shirt that says who...
It would be kinda funny to see a chameleon get terratorial on itself. Gotta let him know he has a little competition so he can keep up his game. But really though I don't think I would try it anytime soon. There's nothing funny about being stressed out :(
And about feeder insects, Im not too...
Wait, wait, wait what? Why not? Thats so crazy haha
And what I mean by moderate attention is like say you can basically fixate all its needs within 5-10 minutes and leave it alone for a couple of hours. For example once I created the perfect environment for the animal, all I would need to do...
To a zelot cham hobbiest, maintanence is advance because you guys think of them so much :) But like you said it is an opinion haha. Well I'm just seeing this as an experimental hobby. Don't get me wrong I LOVE reptiles and herps and used have quite a few a while ago. Panthers do look a lot more...
I am going to move out soon and once I am on my own I plan on having something to keep me busy, a small pet with moderate attention needs(maintanence wise). So I chose a chameleon. This will be my first time keeping one, but I do have experience with reptiles and herps.
