She went to the vets originally who said they didn't know what it was and put it down to an infection. It was only looking at other pics on here I realised it was more likely a burn. I believe her lamp was too close so have now raised it.

She seems to have caught the scab too, it's a dry wound though

I believe they live up to 13 or so years, my female was 10 when she died this year.

Looking at some other threads I'm wondering if it may be burns? Although her top branch is about 5 to 6 inches from the lamp. I'm also using a red bulb which some of the threads have advised is not a good idea? Getting more confused :(
