Thanks for sharing all of this great information! We have successfully gotten through the pupating stage, now the moths are laying eggs! Fun stuff. :O)
I assumed that my chameleon would not want to be held (a male veiled), and he still may change his mind someday. As of now, he rushes toward the door of his cage everytime he sees me, and I am unable to open his door to feed him or clean his plants, without him climbing onto me!!! I can't walk...
Er, I mean, Goliath Hornworms. I ordered some of these for my juvenile chameleon and have been feeding him 1-2 of them a day. The ones he hasn't eaten yet are now about 3 inches long, and I feel like they are too big! What do I do with them now?! My daughter has been feeding them to her...
bugboy-thanks so much for your encouragement, it is appreciated!
Love your signature by the way. LOL
I ended up giving him a few silks and a hornworm after he went all morning and afternoon without touching the crickets that were roaming around in his "house". It is nice to know that he...

He is loving his worms, and now seems to have no interest in crickets. I can't get him to eat the Dubias. I will try again in the morning when he is hungriest.
I have heard that, but thought it was a myth... We feed them to our bearded dragon, but will probably skip them once we add all of the other feeders that I mentioned.
I have an umbrella plant and a pothos in his enclosure, with an aquazamp rain dome. I don't have any glass to mist, but the...
He has had his first shed (since I've owned him), and survived the care of my husband while I was out of town...so, I thought some pics were in order! LOL
I have no idea how old he is, but I feel like maybe he is a bit skinny. And, his eye turrets look sunken to me. He never drinks, that I...
Would it be better to take my juvenile male veiled chameleon with me on vacation, or leave him in the care of an inept keeper (my husband)?
We are going to the beach, east coast. 4-5 hour drive. His whole viv and all of his stuff will fit in the back of my van. Would it be too stressful...
