    Light Your Reptiles

I recently purchased your 24" Quad Fixture w/ Arcadia 12% Bulb & 2 6.5k Daylight Bulbs and Plant Bulb. Everything arrived safely as it was packaged extemely well. I replaced the Frankenstein looking combination of fluorescent light fixtures I was previously using with one unobtrusive and clean...

    T5 questions

I just ordered the 24" HO T5 Quad unit. In my 48" tall screen cage I have been using an ExoTerra Light cycle unit with 24" 10 UVB and Life-Glo tubes in Arcadia reflectors. For the plants there is a hood with three standard cfls. Along with the basking light in a dome, it makes for a lot of...

    Forcefeeding a sick panther???

carnivore care... anyone use this before?

My experience with Carnivore Care has been positive. Feldman is healthy, active and robust. He has put on weight and grown in length. He does not suffer from gout. As for the statement; "Herp vets are not always correct unfortunately. This is one that may not be well known without much...

carnivore care... anyone use this before?

It was prescribed by the herp Vet here in Seattle. As you know, panthers aren't herbivores. Panthers are, in fact obligate carnivores. Insectivore is sub-class of carnivore.

carnivore care... anyone use this before?

As log as this thread has been revived... Feldman, after all this time is still refusing live food and is still getting gavaged with carnivore care. He is now about 173g and is otherwise thriving. I continue to tempt him with various creepy crawlies but to no avail.
