I wish I had pictures of it but I wasn't home when it happened or when he passed... No it wasn't still attached... I know the information I have doesn't help any, I was just going out on a limb and hoping maybe someone had something like this happen... :(
Last night I lost my Panther Cham... He pooped out something with a bunch of blood and clear liquid... After looking at autopsy photo's I believe it was is fat pad... (clear with veins in it) Does anyone have any clue on why that would happen? I can't find anything out about it...
Ok well my little eggs that started sweating still haven't hatched yet and now are starting to mold and turn yellow... I don't know what to do and what I am doing wrong... Please help..
So my little panther chameleon eggs started sweating the other day... and I was wondering how long does it take for them to hatch after they start sweating?
I am new to the whole panther breeding too... But one thing I've learned is before putting the female and male together put their cages where they can see each other. The longer you can give them to get use to each other is better... One of my females were next to my male for atleast 5 months...
Got a question about incubation... I've got the eggs in an aquarium with a light off to the side, and the temperature is between 76 to 74 degrees... I was wondering if there’s a better way to keep them warm... I notice condensation on the inside of the Tupperware containers the eggs are in...
Thank you... All my Chameleons are use to the camera, I LOVE taking pictures of them... lol...
Yeah, she really wasn't eating or drinking a day or two before she laid... She's got a drip system and I've been misting her like crazy...
I am super excited one of my females finally laid her eggs!!!! It's going to be so hard waiting for these little guys and gals to hatch... Just wanted to share... :D
29 Beautiful eggs!!!
Thank you for all the great advice... I've done everything you said... Still nothing... I am taking her to the vet this week... But on a good note my other female finally mated with my male... YAY! More babies!!! :D
Same here... :) I just moved my babies in to my art studio... They have half the room and I have the other half... I LOVE working with them in their such inspirations...
Aug 3 was her 45 day mark and still nothing... I tried putting her in a tall egg laying bucket so she couldn't get out, I tried that for 2 days and all it did was piss her off... her eating is up and down, one day she wont eat much and the next she'll eat like a pig... She hasn't tried digging...
So I've tried putting her in the bucket, and all it did was piss her off... The first day all she did was circle the bucket, she didn't want anything to do with any of it... The second day she just laid on the ground for hours... I am scared I am stressing her out too much... But I am really...
