    More chameleon art

Seriously!!! I would commission one or two from you... like yesterday! You have incredible talent and I am thoroughly jealous!

Veiled not eating in over a week

I will also add my two cents worth... That laying bin (if you mean the reddish plastic plant pot) is not deep enough for your female to dig a decent nest in. It also doesn't look very accessible. Go to a plant store and get one of those cheap BLACK plastic plant containers. They are taller...

    Who's behind the computer?

Dang! I missed that on the news!!! (I know it was a couple of years ago...) THANK YOU so much for making me wet my pants! I haven't laughed like that in a long time...

    Possible eggboud

That female is eggbound for sure. She needs a vet NOW. It's gonna be expensive, but she will die if you do not get her there NOW. She may die anyways. I will pitch in - if it's a "money issue." Maybe a couple of others here will to. The question you have to ask yourself now is... "Do...

    Strange looking panther egg

Yes, I have seen this. I think the neonate has died, and is now rotting... It happened to one of my panther eggs this last clutch. I just waited until it shriveled up before I completely gave up and buried it in the garden. I think the baby wasn't strong enough to open the egg and get out...

Need Fruit Flies in So Cal

Does anyone have any extra cultures that are producing now that you can spare? I have 70 babies to feed and I hit a dry spot in mine...:( Have some that will start soon, but it's the weekend and I can't get any until Tuesday by mail! Let me know, I'll drive almost anywhere... Thanks!

    Feeding hornworms tomato leaves

Tomato Plants - TOXIC! Right?! Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but hornworms that have eaten tomato leaves will be toxic to chameleons... and you should NEVER bring in a hornworm that you find on your tomato plants and feed it to your chameleon either... That's what I have...

    Somebody please help me!!!

I found him in the hedge in front of our house, about 50 feet from the spot where he escaped from his cage originally...

    Somebody please help me!!!

Not that this will ease your mind or help you find your cham, but I had a male Veiled Chameleon escape his cage outdoors once... We found him 7 months later, still in our yard! A little skinnier than when we lost him, but healthy otherwise! And I live in the middle of a feral cat colony! I...

    favorite: Panther vs Veiled

I LOVE that this thread started so long ago...! I vote for both! I love that my Panther is mellow and cool to hang out with, but I rarely get to see him all fired up, so that's a little disapointing... But my Veileds are FIESTY boys, and they fire up/puff up/ and flatten(LOL!) every time...

    Veiled outside 24/7 ?

We live in So Cal, and my Velieds and Panthers live out doors year around, with the exception of the two coldest months... They are doing well! Check out my gallery for photos...

Has this ever happened to anyone???

Ray said he'd kept them between 74-78, but I did notice that there was no air conditioning in the pet store... I asked what he did during the summer to keep them from getting too hot, and he said it never got that hot where he had them.... I found that hard to believe, but I didn't argue...

Has this ever happened to anyone???

Ok, I am still tripping out on this, but I am still relatively new to Chameleon keeping, so maybe this happens sometimes... I had a clutch of Panthers that I had given to a local Pet Shop manager to incubate for me... this was my first clutch (layed on Nov. 8, 2008 - YES! 2008!) He...

ChamEO Clinic begins April 3, 2010

"Dayna" is looking at the footage now... and seeing what kind of "spots" I can pull together... The Bonsai Tree segment is going to be great! Dave's "poop shop" was cool, but nobody had any parasites to see... (a good thing, right?) The lighting was quite low for the Vet Checkups, but we'll...
