    Worms for plant soil?

I know worms help air and water get to the roots and when they die and decompose they feed the plants vital nutrients. Can I put waxworms, superworms, earthworms, or anything in my plants that're in my vivarium? Or any other suggestions to help plants?

Yea I can cut large holes in it and place screen over them for more ventilation soon. Thanks for the feed choices! Will see if anybody votes on certain ones...

    Cricket food recommendations

I do. They shit all in the dish, spread it everywhere and turns to goo with the shit and dead crickets. Yes I know Flukers sucks and I need a new feed. That is the whole purpose of this post.

    Cricket food recommendations

Yea I use greens when I have em. Wanna start hitting the farmers market so should have em more often. And the bin I just use a clear one of those big whey protein containers rather than spend $30 on a plastic box. Those cricket crate things have horrible ventilation too. So I'll take what I'm...

    Cricket food recommendations

Yea the Flukers dry cricket feed, but it's almost out and just makes a mess. So was looking for something like the cubes I could drop in and take out easily. But I know the cubes aren't very good

    Cricket food recommendations

Yes I know to gut load with fruits and veggies. Oranges work great and my chameleon loves the crickets after. But I always forget to take em out within a day and they mold. I want a cricket food like the orange cubes or something that can just leave in there. So they get nutrients and such, then...

Is this normal for my male panther chameleon?

Good. Just have read stuff about bent legs, not much motion, and constant belly to branch. And just realized I didn't mention he'll puff up and hiss and swing at his sides, just like he would if a cricket was crawling on him. And this is with me nowhere near him, when I get close he'll stop too...

Is this normal for my male panther chameleon?

My male Ambanja chameleon is always hugging his vine. He is under the lights but I feel like I've read if they're doing this it's not good. He is eating and will move around, just most of the time he's clinging to the vine. I got a pic of him, probably normal behavior just want to be sure.

Help after switching to large crickets

Well I it looks like he IS eating them but just does it slowly throughout the day. Looks well fed and he's moving around more with bright teal/green usually. Gonna stick with medium a little longer. I gut load with cricket feed, carrots and kale, and try to get any fresh veggies or fruit when I...

Help after switching to large crickets

I've posted before when I first switched. He's an Ambanja, almost 5 months old and a slow grower. Well he doesn't eat them immediately like he did with the small/med. I haven't seen him eat one after the very first one I put in, but there looks to be less or none after I come back later. If so...

Switched to large crickets, won't eat

I wasn't going off the petsmart girls expertise, just getting another opinion. The crickets are about the width of his head. I started one at a time and I scattered the placement. I can get small ones tomorrow to try but I was hoping to avoid purchasing more of those tiny things.

Switched to large crickets, won't eat

My male Ambanja has been a slow grower. So at almost 5 months I think he's big enough to switch from small/med to large crickets. And I showed the petsmart girl the attatched pic and she said she thought he was big enough. Well I put about 5 in his cage yesterday when I got home cause he had...

    Changed from dark to light?

Not a medical issue he's doing fine. He's a male Ambanja btw. I was just wondering..I know they change dark colors if they feel threatened or want to be left alone. Well he was a dark brown to blend in with the vine he was on. And when I opened the cage to empty a drip tray(cause my MistKing...

What do you think the sex is of my Panther chameleon?

Cool thanks guys for the help! I was worried cause I was confused by the indent at the tail base and what bump I was to look for haha. Plus his colors were making me wonder. Cause at 4 months I figured he'd display some orange around the eyes or a little blue. Good to know he'll be a beautiful...
