I am also curious as to what "sucking her teeth" means. I am assuming it is breathing in without opening the mouth, but that's just what I've gotten out of this.
I've worked retail, as many others have, but there are always days where it's kind of an overload. I agree with kindness goes a...
I have three large dogs and a male veiled cham. I keep my cham in a different room, mainly because it gets the most sunlight and stays at a consistently warm temperature, but occasionally my dogs will follow me in the room when I go to feed the crickets or my cham. So far, I have not had any...
Idoneous doesn't seem to care too much for silkworms. He would eat one from my hand and leave the rest as if they were not good enough for him so I would put them on his vine and later come back to see that he ate one or two.
Two days later, he ate one from my hand and no more. Put two more...
Looking for a job can be a downer whether you have a degree or not. I'm in college and work for a man who discriminates against women and I hate it, but money for school is very important in this day and age...
Have you tried calling them back instead of waiting for the reply??? That's what...

Do you dust your silkworms or just let your cham eat them without any supplementation? I dust the crickets with calcium, but am not sure completely if I should do the same with the silkworms.
He's definitely not a huge baby :D
I have been taking as many pictures as I can, but he is still very shy and I have been trying to ease him into trusting me. I can hold him without stress colors, but only for a minute or two.
Thank you for the replies. :)
Just out of curiosity, at what age approximately do male Veiled Chameleons start to show more color?
Idoneous (my male) is 3.5 to 4 months and just finished a shed. He is very faintly showing some coloration of orange, but not noticeably.
I am working with my little Idoneous in hopes to lower his stress towards being handled. He does not hiss or puff up. He only shows stress colors when I hold him at a lower angle. I have been going so slow with him for fear of stressing him out, but I want to make sure that he knows I won't hurt...
