    Viv positioning

Ahh, thank you. Window sheers are a brilliant idea! I think I'll have a shuffle of my room and see how he reacts, I think he's getting a little bored of his free standing tree in my room. Unfortunately with the weather getting cooler in England I can't put him outside unless it's brilliant warm...

    Viv positioning

I'd like to get a general consensus on the positioning of a viv, I've read that a few people believe the viv should be placed near a window (out if direct sunlight) to provide visual stimulation for the chameleon whereas others claim it could be stressful as the animal may try to reach any...

    Strange bruise/burn?

This evening Parker has been acting very strangely trying to get out of his viv, he even managed to wedge himself between his dripper and the glass door and I'm worried in case I've bruised his leg when trying to remove him. It looks sort of like it has been nipped. I'm not sure if it's happened...

    Fussy eater

Ahhh, I'm going to try the every other day method with solely crickets, hoppers and calciworms until he stops being fussy, then the odd fatty worm once a week! Are Dubia roaches hard to keep? Or will they pretty much eat anything like crickets? I'd be worried if Parker ate nothing for 4 days...

    Fussy eater

Yeah I do, I was under the impression that while he was still growing i.e. up until 18 months to try and feed him every day? I might start feeding him every other.

    Fussy eater

My male nosy faly, approx 9 months old, has become a very fussy eater. He'll only eat crickets or hoppers if he's very hungry, I try offering them to him first and usually he'll eat the odd one. He adores worms, I've currently got butterworms, waxworms and calciworms. I know butterworms and...

    Gutloading

I bought some silkworms and a load of mulberry chow, currently out of silkworms but would it be okay to gutload my crickets with the mulberry chow? I'm unsure whether to buy more silkworms and I don't want the chow to go to waste...

    Swooshing tongue

One of Parkers calciworms pupated in his viv into a soldier fly, he soon sorted the intruder out but I was wondering if anyone has noticed a swooshing noise when their cham fires their tongue?! I'd never heard it until today, I wasn't sure if it was him making the noise as he fired or whether...

8 month panther not eating much

My nosy faly, Parker, shed about two weeks and a half weeks ago and up until the past 5/6 days he has been eating great. Now he's having one hopper or one cricket (a few days two) and around 3 calci-worms. I was wondering if it's normal for their appetite to slow down after a shed? Chameleon...
