    Oregano?

True. I didn't even notice him going for it till it was too late, and I don't think it was the kind of fly you are thinking of.

    Oregano?

My Nosy Be panther was just trying to eat a fly while getting some sun out in the back yard and when he caught the fly he pulled in a piece of Oregano. We don't use pesticide or fertilizers but I was wondering if that's bad?

    kamikaze Panthers - handling issue

My Nosy Be Male likes to kamakaze sometimes as well when I'm walking with him. The method I've used to get him to stop jumping was to allow him on my shirt(belly ot chest area) rather than my hand initially. I would sit and do HW, play video games or do whatever and allow him to climb all over...

    Murphy - my new Melleri

WOW! and a lil question... Wow what an amazing animal! He is so gorgeous! Not to mention enormous! I bet he is gonna be a blast to have in your home!:D So i have a silly question! I've only ever had the chance to handle my Panthers and their feet are extremely strong! With a Chameleon that...

    Is he a cap est?

After a post recently about cap est i did a little research on them and they are gorgeous animals and do look similar to your boy. The white background with red bars (deep red, blood red) is the way that cap est are suppose to fire up. Maybe post a couple of him fired up as well. There is also...

    Plants? Kinds? Your thoughts?

Umbrella and pothos are great at catching that water for your cham to drink. I've only used pothos, umbrella and ficus but neither of my chams like drinking from their ficus's. Pothos plants can grow very fast with all the misting so they are awesome for people who have trouble with killing...

    Confused about sex

My panthers head bobs sometimes while I mist. He doesn't seem aggressive while he is bobbing his head but its pretty common! That poor ambilobe looks so confused!!! Like he was ready for a fight then realized your Be wasnt trying to fight but flirt!! Now everything awkward!!! :D

    What have you changed?

I switched from mercury vapor to a linear bulb and a bask bulb. I switched from commercial gutload to a homemade recipe (one of Sandrachameleons). I Free range as much as i can, take the kids outside as well. Started a roach colony, a cricket colony, and am working on breeding superworms...

Put my chameleon in the wrong cage "oops"

If you do leave them together be sure to keep tabs on them as was mentioned. The female can become aggressive once she is gravid or the male can decide he has had enough and try to push her off a branch. My male tryed to push my female off the branch it looked to me before I seperated them.

    Faly owners opinions please.

Maybe they are Nosy Fe! :p

Put my chameleon in the wrong cage "oops"

If you weren't planning on eggs i would seperate them so you don't end up with way more than you can handle. Youll need to prepare a laying bin with washed play sand or a safe organic soil. I would check out forum member Jannb she has made an amazing blog about laying bins and the egg laying...
