    Something in Chameleons eye

Hey guys, my little guy was happy and fine for the past couple hours today and even trusted me enough to roam around on my arms but I noticed just 30 minutes ago he was trying to push something out of his eye. I’ve tried misting water near his eye to wash it out but now his eye is staying shut...

    Chameleon won’t eat

An update! He’s eaten about 4 crickets already and hunting still. I’ve seen him drink as well and climb around. It was hard to see his tongue because he didn’t like me watching him hunt but the function seemed alright and I didn’t notice any unusual coloring or spots. Thank you everyone for...

    Chameleon won’t eat

Thanks for the feedback. Will try and get more leafy greens in the gutload diet and look at his tongue. Adjusted his basking temp, thanks for that. Was confused cause I read on other forums that for a 6 month old and older their basking spots can go up to 95 maybe that was another chameleon...

    Chameleon won’t eat

Thank you, I lowered his temp to 80-85. I think maybe he did hurt his tongue yeah, I haven’t seen him shoot at crickets much since so maybe that’s it.

    Chameleon won’t eat

Yes thank you, I’m aware of that and have a pothos I’m putting in there once i have a way to safely hang it. But is that a reason why he’s not eating, which is my original concern?

    Plants for hiding

With live plants, I know it’s recommended to cover the soil with larger river rocks. I don’t live in an area with any near me, just gravel. Do you guys know where I could buy some if that’s a thing ? I don’t wanna use fake rocks because I know the coating can peel off over time and be a hazard...

    Plants for hiding

I have a Panther Cham who is completely uninterested in eating the plants haha but thank you for the recommendations! I have a Schefflera that he loves to climb on. Will probably invest in a pothos soon!

    Plants for hiding

Hi all, what are some recommendations for plants to have in my Chams cage? Both Real and Fake recommendations would be nice. What are plants you guys use for more hiding spots and foliage for your chams cages?
