Thanks for the reply. I wasn't to concerned about the mesh, because when I built the cage I used 1/2"X1/2" garden screen so I figured it would get through ok. When I get a chance I will post some pics so you will be able to see the setup and give me anymore pointers. Thank you for your time.

would 2 24" fluorescent tubes be to much for a enclosure of this size? the bulbs are, all living things 24" tropical fluorescent, 17 watt 25 uvb.

yes we are looking at getting some more plants, thinking he would really like an umbrella plant, and we have a wandering jew but the vines aren't quite long enough yet. what kinda extra lighting would i put in. he's got a 18" 5.0 uvb/uva, and 150w basking bulb.

what is the safest least stress full way of transporting a chameleon to the vet?

i thought that my room temp would be fine, but this morning i noticed that the water was almost cold to the touch, and it cooled the whole enclosure down quite a bit. note. I edited my location, thought it might help

how does everyone keep the water in there automatic misters hot so it sprays warm?

What kinda timers is everyone using. Does the mister only run during the day or does it turn on at night as well?

thanx thanx, he seems to be pretty friendly. ate a cricket right off my hand the second day we had him, and crawled right on to my hand and let me hold him. lol.

how often and how many crickets should 7-8 month old panther eat?
