Ahh, a familiar face! That's wonderful. I was wondering if there was anyone from the older days left, or if it's just like zoo world with constant turnover.
It is good to be back tho! I have been getting the itch to get back into chams, but I need to get a house first. Then I can finally...
Sounds about right.
I went off to college. Got a job at a zoo. Worked there 10 years. Released some endangered species. Then left and .oved back home to be by my ma.
I need tons for my false chameleons at work (C. barbatus), but my colony doesn't usually last long. It's nice when you hear 40 lizards crunching snail shells at the same time.
I have snail colonys at work for my lizards, and I throw in some cuttlebone to help with their shell growth. I think my species are around 7-10 days, but they are so tiny at that age, it takes a good month or two before I can feed them out.
Hello,
Long time no talk. I am wondering if anyon has ever done (recently with the new T5's, as with everything else) any real elaborate UVB bulb testing?
If anyone has done any of this, and has the science and notes behind it, I would really like to have a conversation with that person...
I remember a few years back there was a study on UVA and UVB, and different things that I would like to read about. I am not sure if Dave Weldon was a part of it or not, but I swear that it was in his sig.
Does anyone have the link handy?
I got a new computer and I lost all my old good...
