Just seeing this post. Did you ever rehome your chameleon? Are you sure it's male?

    Hammy and Ivy Baby Thread

We renamed Ringo to Sarge because Mom liked it better. He and Rosie are doing fine. A little fiesty since I haven't been able to handle them much lately. They both like to eat the pothos leaves from time to time. Mostly feeder crickets though. Rosie prefers to remain in her habitat. Sarge will...

    Hammy and Ivy Baby Thread

Hey there. Didn't realize we had a page to put our babies pics from Jannb's adoptions. Here are a couple of the ones we just got a few weeks ago. Named the girl Rosie and the boy is Sarge. They are both pigs when it comes to feeding time. They get a small salad a couple of times a week along...

    Are crickets and hoppers enough?

From Josh's Frogs. it's called Jurassic Guard, Garlic additive for Reptiles and Amphibians. It has garlic extract 9900 ppm, allicin 130ppm, and ascorbic acid 1000ppm. I only use it when their appetite seems low and they really seem to like it. No odd effects have been seen.

Thanks for hand-delivering our two darlings. We named them Sarge(top) and Rosey(bottom). So far they seem happy and are eating well. It was so nice, if briefly, to meet you both. Take care.

    A cricket that shows promise

Problem now is that Josh's is having a run on the banded crickets so they're very often out of the larger quantities (Ie lower priced) ones. Upside is that they live for months and don't stink and are quiet! Good luck.

    A bit inactive, not exploring

Keep some ReptiVite on hand and give 4 or 5 drops a month. Keeps them healthy.

    Are crickets and hoppers enough?

I had a veiled that only ever ate mealworms. Lol Didn't matter what size or kind of crickets or any other feeder, except horned worms, he wouldn't eat them. Lived to around 7 years old. Was never sickly. always active. Then others won't touch mealworms but will eat banded crickets from Josh's...

    Cups for Enclosure to feed

I bought some $1 storage bowls from the dollar store and drill a couple of small holes in the bottom for drainage. Then either wedge them between something or use a couple of small 'S' hooks and hang it off a vine.

    Looking for feeders

It's hard when you live in an extreme climate area. I live in Texas. Josh's has always done right by me. I've gotten on a bi-monthly ordering system and time it so that I don't have too many orders coming during hot or cold periods. They will also tell you if they can ship your order or how much...

    Comment by 'mrfixit01' in 'MBD'

I have not been following your thread so forgive me if I recover something already touched on. From what I think I read, you've already taken her to a herp vet and gotten a shot for mbd? She's not climbing or using her tongue? You're feeding her crickets with tweezers? I went through something...

My Babies Are Two Months Old 5/5/20

Rango was a rescue from N.C. and we had problems getting him here way back then, so we understand. We're not in a huge hurry as we know you will take good care of them until it is safe. Just want you to know we're almost ready and waiting. Don't sell them to someone else, please. If you could...

My Babies Are Two Months Old 5/5/20

Ready for our girl and boy. Just have to attach the mistking and lights and hang plants and vines on the new housing. Former home of Rango has been cleaned and upgraded and is ready to be inhabited. Will our girl had the red head also? How's our boy doing. Haven't settled on names yet...

    Issues with mistking mister

Okay, so then it looks like the nozzles are stopped up for sure. It is very touchy to disassemble them and even then you may not be able to remove the gunk. If you are very, very careful, you might try to soak them in the CLR for about 3 hours or more. Maybe even overnight. BUT be sure that you...
