I haven't owned both but they seem to be super similar, both fully aluminum & same dimensions, I'd go with your aesthetic preference of color & whichever is cheaper including shipping
The cage comes with an instruction paper and all the pieces are labeled, it took only about 20 minutes to build! Super easy haha I didn't need help at all
Ordered the Jumbo 48x24x24 cage for my Jackson's on Tuesday & it came in yesterday, it's amazing! Free shipping and $20 less than Dragonstrand's version (saved about $75 by going with DIY instead) couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Should I purchase a bigger lighting set so it gets warmer up...
I've discovered that if I put the food on the wall to climb near him, he'll eat. Got him to eat 3 crickets today :) Things are coming together, he just needs minimal interaction with me right now. Thanks for your response!

Hot air rises, cold air is more dense, yes. I bought an exo terra for my crestie because its has above average airflow. Apparently I'm not speaking english here :ROFLMAO: The airflow is good! I'm more concerned, once again, about the reflection!!!! I'm POSITIVE bdhaugland's cham will receive an*...
Personally, my goal is to simulate a life for my chameleon that is closest to that of its natural habitat. Minimal restrictions, BEST possible airflow (not just acceptable or above average like glass provides) etc. Screen literally provides no barrier for fresh air to penetrate the cage, but...
Really, you shouldn't have a cham in that setup. I'm a rather unexperienced chameleon owner, but it's been preached by everyone that screen cages are required. When a chameleon see's itself in the reflection of the glass, it deems the reflection to be another chameleon & it stresses itself out...
Our lows get into the 40's, do you think my jackson would be able to handle something like that? I was just going to bring his cage in for the winter months
