i saw an episone of phineas and ferb the other day where they decide to care for a "north-american chameleon" they call steve. he gets zapped and grows HUGE and can turn completely invisible! lol
i have a golden pothos already. the link you posted is to a ficus. i was going to get a ficus at first, but i found that i like the look of the scheff better.
i checked my home depot, lowes and wal-mart...i just can't find a schefflera anywhere! then i figured i'd do better online, but was wrong. are they out-of-season or something?
my wife just said that she wants one too! so now i need 2! lol
i don't have many options in my area for buying plants, so i've been browsing online for a place to buy them. everywhere i've looked has no trace of a schefflera of any kind! does anyone know where i can find an online retailer of these plants?
it's not very big; they are normally used for cabinets. you must have something to mount it to though. so, if you have an all mesh cage, you may not be able to use these...
i used 2 'roller catch latches' on my cage door. they work really well. i've attached a pic to be clear... i got them at wal-mart for a couple bucks.

i've been going back and forth on exactly what kind i'm getting. i think i've settled on a male ambilobe... i still need a little time to get the lights and get the plants set up in there. i might get him in about a month or a little less. i want to make sure everything is...

it's 24x30x48 and will sit on a seperate base that will house the drainage, power, and timing equipment. well, that's the plan anyway. this is so my wife and i can easily...
wow, thanks for all the replys!
I'm in south texas about 100 miles south of houston.
my original plan was to get a male veiled, but lately i've been thinking about a male jackson's. as far as age goes, i would like him to be big enough already to eat adult crix without a problem. they will...
I'm new here and am getting close to getting my first cham! I've been working on getting my enclosure location planned and built and learning as much as i can about these awesome animals! I'm excited because a naturally lighted corner of a room in my house just became available for my...
