New cage, what do you reckon ? with pics !

yes I will, thanks. Thats why I wrapped the vines around the bamboo to help him get up & down. The bamboo was more as a stand alone struture to add bits on if nessary & aid a easier to clean cage. The mesh doesnt seem to be the strongest mesh in the world so I was a little worried about adding...

New cage, what do you reckon ? with pics !

I have got more vines from my old cage, so I will add them too, I was going to also add another vine over the top of the top bamboo to make a better perch but I dont want to go any higher to the top mesh as the temp is staying at 83 & I dont really want him doing the roof walk if I can help it...

New cage, what do you reckon ? with pics !

He is moving in tomorrow ! So what do you reckon ? good or bad comments. The extention lead/plugs is only there for testing I am going to move all the electrics underneath so no chance of getting wet.

Do i really need an automatic mister?

I would do a search on a Habba mist before you buy one :(:( they dont sound good, your better off with a mist king. even though I dont have one they seem to be the best in the states.

    1 nozzle or 2

I have just bought a super rain misting system which comes with 3 nozzles but I only plan to use 2 or maybe 1 ???. I have a Zoo Med Reptibreeze all mesh cage 60x60x120cm . Before I got the mist system I was going to use a single nozzle at the top in the center so in theory would mist every...

    UVA/UVB Radiation from light?

Its all food for thought , What with reading that most people seem to use reptisun 5, I spoke to a local reptile shop with regards to lighting & he told me go for a 10 reptisun every time for a chameleon. I was also told from another shop to use a 10 reptisun if you place the tube on top of the...

    Misting a mesh cage

I now have the over spray sheild sorted ! I got some cordex from work, its basically temparary floor protection :). But now im unsure of were to mount the nozzle or nozzles, I was going to mount one of the mist nozzles in the centre at the top through the mesh,so it just sprays/mists straight...
