    More eggs!!!

Average I have read is 20-40? Our last girl laid 21 and we are are treating them both the same in terms of heat and food. Only difference was that this one did not look prego at ALL except she started digging. Our last girl hung from the middle of the cage to lay; this one we completely changed...

    She finally had eggs

Thanks!! We are trying to figure out why she didn’t lay in the lay bin. I asked the original owner as she has laid before, but I haven’t heard back yet.

    She finally had eggs

So this is kinda late; however, our female panther chameleon laid 21 eggs and I’m so excited!!!! My husband and I were on pins and needles for weeks and can finally breathe a sigh of relief. “Pinky pie” (named by my 4 year old) is eating and drinking well and looks great! I have a schedule printed off copied from a Neptune the Chameleon video I watched so I have calcium and multivitamins with and without D3. I have 1 linear UVB HO 5.0 I will be using with the next cages (I need to buy 2 more). I’m not sure what YBBB means?

Thanks Amanda. The enclosure is approx 2x2x4 and yes. We got a red light with it and were told that’s what we should use, however after doing some research we will be switching it out. We are currently building custom enclosures with better lighting and drainage:)

    What’s the best incubator?

Hey everyone!! My husband and I are new to having chameleons. We are a “go big or go home” kind of family so of course we started our journey with not one, but 3 panther chameleons as well as an incubator full of 23 eggs ?. We both love how much info you all post. (Literally watching Neptune the...

    What’s the best incubator?

My husband and I recently purchased 2 females and 1 male panther chameleon along with eggs and their whole set up. One of the females is gravid and we would like to set up a better incubation system then what we currently have (basically a tote). What are recommendations? Ps. We are new to...
