Could dehydration be causing my baby yeomen to sleep alot

Hi i have just recently got a yeomen chameleon and was woundering should a heat mat be used at night he is in a temporay small but tall glass mesh top exo terra ? Im just worried his temps dropping too much

How often do you do that kate i have just done that and i didnt see him drink but when i finished his eyes wernt as sunken

Can someone give me some advice my baby chameleon look dehydrated hes only about 4 months old any advice how to rehydrate him i spay his enclosure 4-5 times daily

I was the same as long as temps are right and hes well hydrated it maybe that hes just settling maybe just adjusting

I bought mine on sat on sunday and monday my cham was exactly the same hes only just been a litlle more alert today and only just eaten today since saturday maybe they just need time :)

Might sound a bit daft here but as a first time chameleon owner id like to know is it normal to be able to see my chameleon breath through chest movements ?

Please help i got new veild chameleon on saturday he ate when he went into his new home but he hasnt eaten since and sleeps alot during day :(
