New here need help. Bought a baby red bar ambilobe panther chameleon.

Hey, I'm from toronto too. I've been to All Reptiles before. They actually tried to sell me a 18x18x24" glass terrarium and said it would be the perfect size for an adult chameleon :/ The store I go to is Tails and scales at Dundas west and keele. I know that the guy who started All Reptiles...

My chameleon is a mood ring.

I bought him when he was about 3 months old. He's almost 6 months now, I believe. As for what I do to get him accustomed to me. I hand feed him everyday a few crickets or worms, and let him chase around the rest. I also like to spend some time around the cage, just sitting and reading. I also...

My chameleon is a mood ring.

This is Ichabods "Leave me alone, I'm trying to sleep" colors. Although I guess all his colors are his "leave me alone" colors. He isn't very friendly... yet.

4 months old male sambava/ ambilobe panther chameleon

I haven't had a cham for long, but I'm going to try my hand at advice.I also have a 4.5-5 month old Sambava. First, you shouldn't have a waterfall in the cage. It will breed a lot of bacteria. I'm sure everyone here will say the same thing. Are you sure yours is 4 months old? Mines only a...

My young Panther hasn't eaten for awhile.

watching with a web-cam, that's creepy. But really smart haha I do see him drinking, and I mist a lot so I don't know why he wouldn't be hydrated. As for hiding places, I don't know where he is in the cage most of the time. I'll try getting a plant or fake plant/vine thing to put in this cage...

My young Panther hasn't eaten for awhile.

The crickets he ate were no bigger then 1/2", he wouldn't go after the really small ones. And he won't cup feed. I counted the crickets but a few of them hide and I don't find them till later so I'm a few off. He may have eaten max 6 crickets. I wouldn't be off my cricket count more then that.

1st time owner, would like opinion on enclosure

So what are saying is I might need more foliage :) I'll start off by getting another fake plant. The greenhouse is a little difficult to get to but I'm going to get a pothos as soon as I can. I was thinking about using dowels but I like making things look real/natural. I will probably get one...

1st time owner, would like opinion on enclosure

I figured that I would need more cover. I have a hanging plastic plant in my snake tank, would that be alright for a few weeks if I hang it on/over a bunch of sticks? As for the thicker sticks, I did plan on getting a few when he got bigger. Couldn't find any to buy and no tools to make my own...

1st time owner, would like opinion on enclosure

I'll be getting my 1st panther cham next week (Samabava, 2-3 months old, Name: Ichabod), and I was wondering how my enclosure is. It's mostly just sticks (cleaned) with fake vines wrapped around, placed all over the cage. I have a few fake vines, a small umbrella plant, and I plan on getting a...
