So happy to hear she is doing better! I've been following your Meller's story on your blog and it's just great to see that all the work you've been putting in her is starting to pay off :) congratulations, really!
As many others I am fascinated with Meller's and my special thanks goes to you...
Well, you seem to be on the right track, considering that you found this place ;) so no worries - it will all go just fine, as long as you follow the care-sheet provided here on the forums. What kind of cham is it that you're getting bthw?
In regards to tomatoes - I would take it with a grain...
Hey there,
there was a great thread just a day or two ago about what not to gut-load with: https://www.chameleonforums.com/things-you-cannot-gut-load-your-feeders-112001/
Otherwise there is a fantastic blog by Sandrachameleon, where you can find all the necessary info about feeder...
Well, maybe because it is not very fair to knowingly put your chameleon in a situation, where it get's stressed? On a side note: I am not offended or anything, it is a funny thing they do, I just wouldn't try it out on my own chameleon, but then - I have a big male veiled beast that I...
That could be a rectal prolapse, though I am not sure. Whatever it is, two weeks is a long time, and I doubt it's gonna go away by itself - you should really take him to a vet.
Hi and welcome :)
There is a great blog post that I usually advise to read, when people ask questions about handling/taming their chameleons - you can find it here: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/psychobunny/746-taming-chameleon.html
Best of luck,

Very nice guy! :) the second pic is hilarious - that looks extremely uncomfortable to me, and he is just like "rum-ti-tum, I am just hanging out here" :D
Yeah, that's a way to welcome a new member to the forums! Way to go! I bet you knew everything from the very first day you got your first chameleon.
Now, Treetopchameleons, I don't know you personally and I am not saying what you wrote is wrong, in general I am also of an opinion that one...
Please, don't take the comments too hard, people are just trying to help you and sometimes making assumptions that turn out wrong (as in the case with the aquarium assumption). In regards to UVB bulb - you didn't mention that when describing your lighting setup, you just wrote it was 50W, you...
Also, please fill out the How to ask for help form that you were linked to a coupled posts above. Just copy/paste it and fill in the answers - that information can help to point out possible reasons for your chameleon not being well.
Regards,
JUlija
I agree about him looking dehydrated, and shower would be a good idea. If you decide to try it it is very important that you don't shower him directly!!
Take a plant, put your chameleon on it, make the water luke-warm, then direct the shower head so that water hits the wall an bounces of it...
Solid Snake, I bow my head for you! :D
First I was like - what the hell??... But then realised that you said what I was thinking, just in a much sharper and smarter way! I could not stop laughing once I got it :)
To the OP: well, the obvious answer is - because they are all chameleons...
