so its a sad day for me. i have realized that i am too busy and have starting to neglect my male veiled. he is two years old. beautiful teal and yellow markings. his casque turns almost completely white when he gets fired up. i have a 4x2x2 aluminum and mesh cage with a stand and canopy to...
yeah the lights are on the outside. im not sure how they are working. the leaves on the hibiscus were turning yellow and falling off much faster before i put the lights on. not yellowing as fast now but still a little. still wont bloom though.

ive had him for about 5 mos. i believe he is around 8mos now. just wanted to see what everyone thought. its hard to tell but the back wall of the cage is wood. stained and polyurathaned. i then attached some dried drift wood from the pet store so that they stick out. then got some fake...
hes a veiled. it takes him a little bit before he will drink. he runs away at first then he will eventually come over to the dripper and just sit directly under it and take a shower. how long should i mist?
my mister sprays at the top of the plant. i really doubt that i am not watering enough. the soil is always moist. how can i lessen the ammount of water it gets? i have rocks at the bottom of the pot to help it drain. i mist for 10 min 2-3 times per day.
i can add plant food? i do have the soil covered with large rocks. my cham loves eating it but i dont think that is why the leaves are falling off. they are always whole leaves. will plant food affect the cham if he eats the plant? thanks

hey all. i have a hibiscus in my chams cage and am having problems with it. leaves keep falling off and i have not had it bloom since its been in there. i have 2 ge full spectrum bulbs and 1 "plant" light as well as the heat lamp and uv bulb. the leaves just turn yellow and then fall off...
is there a problem running the drip[per 24/7? all day and night. im asking this because my dripper is now plumbed directly into the house plumbing. i have a valve that i can shut it off with but in case i would ever forget. thanks

of the dripper set-up? or the mister that im trying to plan? the dripper is actuall very simple. i "t'd" off of the 1" copper plumbing in the basement. the "t" is 1" on each side and 3/8" quick fit on the third side. this piece was kind of hard to find. then just ran the 3/8" tubing up...
thanks for all your help guys. thats sounds like a pretty good/simple idea. ill probably have to go that route but what i am trying to do is not have a reservoir for the misting system under the stand. i have my dripper hooked directly into my plumbing so that all i need to do is turn a valve...
i just keep thinkin of more hurdles i have to cross for this setup to work. if i hook the mister directly into the plumbing how will i keep the water warm and not cold.
