I'd recommend cutting a piece out of the top and covering the hole with screen. I have an Armware (?) that I'm converting and will have to do the same thing?
My Jacksons love waxworms ... at least that's what I'm told their called. I haven't experimented much but I do know they not real thrilled about roaches.

If they look hard enough they can but they don't 'seem' stressed about it since they spent so much time together both at the Reptile Store and their first few days with me. However just to be safe I'll recover the divider with non-transparent material. :)

Keeping to the depths
The top stays between 75 & 85 while the bottom pretty much stays aroud 70. A little less in the middle of the night but I have our home thermistate set for 68. The pen is split down the middle with a screen divider so the Female is in the same environment and basks pretty...

Thanks everyone, I actually held him for about 2 minutes and then let him go up on his basking limb ... he just commenced to crawl back down to where he was and started watching me again. lol Kinda cute & spooky at the same time.
