it looks like most, if not all, cham myth's come from africa. One states that the cham changes color to mourn the sloth of Unwaba. He was sent to bring immortality to humans but was to slow, and a lizard bearing the message of death arrived first. this seems to be the recurring theme in all of...
this topic seems to be heading into dangerous territory!!
that said, my opinion is that people killing cham's out of fear/superstition, while sad, isn't as bad as the way pigs, cows and chickens are housed and treated before being slaughtered so people can eat them! In America and other...
i know that for abotu 2 weeks after i got Karma i had to mist at least twice a day for at least 5 minutes at a time, to stimulate his drinking instinct. just make sure to let the enclosure dry out between misting!
Pac-man frogs are awesome! they get pretty big and don't make much if any noise. i had mine in a 10 gallon aquarium before he passed, so they don't really take up a ton of space.
there should be an organic spray that you could use. i'd check a health store or a natural food market. they have everything now a-days! I'll also ask my mom what to use that won't hurt the cham's

will it be an issue if i clean the tank once a week? i know that if it's longer the water can start to breed a ton of bacteria. once he starts to get healthier i was going to get one from LLL reptile.
i have a ten gallon aquarium with a 10 gallon screen top on it. (it's the same size as if you set 2 ten gallon aquariums on top of each other.) the top 10 gallons is wire mesh. thats where he spends most of his time. the 65 gallon is an apogee reptarium.
surprisingly Petco. We found one that had a big healthy male veiled. The reptile guy there actually has a cham! they had a drip system and everything. even had his plant turned so he could hide if he so wanted. The guy was really cool. I found a screed thing to put on top of the 10 gallon...
