I see you breed bearded dragons. Would you mind if i ask you a question. What substrate do you put your bearded in for laying eggs? My female will only dig in sand but wont dig in soil.

I have used it for leopard geckos and cresteds. It works for them so i would assume it works for chameleons.

Alright, well i tried to get a garden glove and take him out. He kept bitting my finger. He didnt calm down so i put him back in his cage. I guess i just have to give it time. I have tried feeding him hornworms from my hand but he wont take them. Hopefully when he is older he will calm down.

I have a 8 month old male veiled chameleon. I got him in Augest but never held him. He bobs and hisses at me all the time. When i am cleaning his cage he likes to charge at me and try to bite. I would like to hold him but never want to cause stress to him. Does anyone know any ways so i can hold...

yea i know... I am going to totally redo the cages... i dont think anything in the smaller one is going to go in with the chameleon

lol... i am not keeping the cages like that. The big cage was in my garage and i left some things in it from about a month ago.

I want to get a veiled chameleon from lllreptile.com that is about 4 inches long. The first cage that i have is 20x20x50 inches. The second cage that i have is 19x14x24.

I know the first couple of layers: Hydroton, charcoal, screen, but this is were i get confused. I am trying to follow the site http://www.chameleonnews.com/new/?page=article&id=63. What do you put around the plant pots? Then what is that stuff you should put over it? I thought it is...

I want to get a pygmy chameleon and have been looking up information. I will most likely be getting a 10 gallon glass tank. My main question is the lighting for the 10 gallon. What kind of light fixture and uvb do i need? Also, what kind of bedding is used?
