7 Month Old Veiled Supplementation Schedule

I have a male veiled and have recently started feeding him every second day instead of everyday. I'm unsure of when to give him his vitamins and when to give him his calcium. What can you guys recommend for me? I'd appreciate if you guys could share your schedules for your/an adult veiled as...

What kind of mesh would I need to line the back of the cup? I'm looking to make one but this part has me quite lost...

    My Veiled Seems Incredibly Sick

So great news! I took him in to a vet on Monday, who does work frequently with chams, and in fact has some of her own. She gave me eye drops to give him twice a day, and he's already doing much much better! His eyes were closed because they were very sensitive to light from over exposure to the...

Wild Bradypodion caeruleogula - South AfricA

I was in Newcastle in KZN at the time, but because there's so many and I'm not very clued up on the indigenous chams, I'm not sure which it really was

Wild Bradypodion caeruleogula - South AfricA

I'm pretty sure I came across one of these little guys in my backyard once when I was really young. It was my first time seeing a chameleon and I was in love with it! I would sit inside and look for it in the tree next to my window every morning, which might be why I love chams so much now :) I...

    Concerned Carly isn't drinking enough

Try dripping the water from the dripper at about a drop per second, onto the tip of her mouth. I'm certainly not an expert or anything, but I did recently have a problem with my male veiled of the same age not drinking. After doing that, I ended up seeing him drinking a lot more.

    My Veiled Seems Incredibly Sick

I tried applying the dripper to his face gently, and he loved it. Hopefully he'll recognize it as a source if water from now on. As for the misting, I'll increase it. I've been paranoid about things like bacterial infections from excess humidity, but I suppose that just means I should go out and...

    My Veiled Seems Incredibly Sick

I've been following this page as a guideline: http://www.completecritter.com/veiled-chameleon.html It looks to be really well researched. I'll try and get him to do this today.

    My Veiled Seems Incredibly Sick

His urate shows that he isn't getting enough water, but I don't know how to get him to drink. I never see him drink after misting, or from the dripper's little drip stream on the leaves.

    My Veiled Seems Incredibly Sick

I used to do that because that's what the caresheets said, but after talking to the man I got him from, he said I was doing it too often, because it's too humid in Durban. He recommended I do it once or twice a day for a few minutes. I took his advice over the caresheets because not only are...
