Hi Mark, I have a very good reptile vet located in Edenvale. They are difficult to find in SA, but there are a few. He has a couple of rescued flap necks of his own as well as a host of other reptiles. Please pm me if you want his number. PS - glad to hear he ate :)

Mark, ga-ga grubs to us are referred to as pheonix worms. You may need to prick the skin on one or two before you feed them to him, as they may not be digested and come out on the other side whole - this is if he doesn't chew them properly :rolleyes:. My guy does not eat these at all, but...

Hi All, My 1 yr old male veiled refuses to eat any plant matter what-so-ever. He also really hates silkworms. My question here is -is this normal behavior and how do I go about getting him interested in veggies and silkies. I cup feed and do add veggies to this, but he seems totally disgusted...

Thanks Brad. We have a male - he has the tarsal spurs. He seems to be slowing down and some days he only want a few items, such as maybe 3 or four, but the next day he goes to 10 again. So you think this is normal behavior? Also, do any of you think grass hoppers are a good feeder...

Thank for the reply. I am looking into getting some dubia's but it is a bit difficult in SA at the moment. He does not like silkworms and eats the odd super worm. He goes mad for the soldier flies, but will not eat the grubs. I think I am sitting with a picky eater. I can possibly get some...
