Yes I do know what this is.
In Germany everyone advise against cocos fiber cause of the reasons I mentioned.
But maybe we Germans are a bit overreacting .
We do so many things different when keepig reptiles compared to America
I got told that coco fiber is bad cause it's kinda of sharp and pointy so if u r Cham it's eat when it for example shoots a cricket from it, it can hurt and probably penetrate their stomach
You can actually use energy saving lights with 6000 Kelvin or more.
It works fine for mine.
If u really wanna boost your plant growing you can use special plant growing led lights.
But I have a big bioactive enclosure and the plants are growing like crazy without a special lamp
When the need of a bigger drip tray and a wider table are the only problems you face when u would give your Cham a better life I would take that problems tho.
Just give your Cham the bigger cage
Heyho, this is lilli my carpet chameleon.
After her last shed she got some pretty nice blue.
Didnt saw one carpet chameleon here yet so I share my little sweet with you:)
The ground is actually kinda hard so they can dip into the ground without it falling down on them . So it's hard enough that they don't have the mouth full of sand whir hunting :)
They are actually adult dwarf bearded dragons .
I think about ditching the sand but in Germany every bearded dragon owner uses a sand clay mixture so they can dig into the ground
