    It is official!

I have a Wyze cam in the enclosure and lo and behold he has just been basking right in front of it for over an hour! This guy is just so nice looking! Has a good personality so far too! Doesn't seem to be afraid and just looks at you if you come up to the Cage. I put my hand in a couple of times...

    It is official!

I got home about an hour ago and I swear he has barely stopped moving. I put a couple more crickets in the feeder but he wasn't interested. I thought he might be Hungry since he is moving around so much. Want to give a big shout out to PlowShredder here on the forum where I got him from. He was...

    It is official!

Panther chameleon arrived today. I let him out of the shipping container and he climbed right out and into the enclosure. I didn't think he would be hungry but I put a half dozen crickets into the full throttle feeder and he ate them all! I had to go during lunch and had to get back to work...

    How high is too high?

Set up the Little Dripper this afternoon. Could have rigged something up but considering all the DIY on this enclosure I figured what the heck! One mod I made was to add a second valve that's for a drip irrigation system. That let's me fine tune the drip. Currently I have it at a drip about...

    How high is too high?

That's one reason I figure I will have to remove smaller branches and add bigger ones over time. I'm already mulling over an outdoor enclosure for natural UVB exposure and indoor enclosure maintenance. For the proper times of year of course.

    How high is too high?

Yeah that's the only thing. No way to really stop him from climbing on it because of the power cord. Although I'm hoping the cord itself won't seem sturdy enough to climb on.

Also got sneaky and mounted a wyze cam in an outdoor mount inside the enclosure. That way hopefully the little future inhabitant will thing its normal and not be bothered by it.

    How high is too high?

One just didn't seem to throw enough light throughout the enclosure. I was worried the dracaena at the bottom wasn't getting enough light. It is now!

    How high is too high?

Going to have to re-check the temps and humidity now. The other nice thing about the Sansi fixtures is that they are way smaller than the Vivosun 4 bulb fixture. Considering there are 2 of the Sansi fixtures even combined they are close to half the size of the florescent fixture with 40 watts...

The Sansi LED plant lights are on another level! On paper the difference is 96 watts for the 4 HO T5 bulbs compared to 140 watts for the 2 Sansi fixtures. There is a lot more light than the 44 watt difference would indicate.

    How high is too high?

Tonight will be the first "test" run of night time humidity. I have it going off 3 times between 11pm and 4 am and then for a short 30 seconds at 6:45 which is 15 minutes before lights on. I have two Govee temp/humidity monitors in the enclosure one in thevtop third and one in the bottom third...

    How high is too high?

Well no leaks all day while at work so I think the crisis has been averted!

So far so good. The reservoir has had water in it since about 2 this afternoon and so far not a drop.
