Mr wilson made this very clear. Cham's don't like to be held. Period. I don't care what anyone says. The closest thing you will get to taming your cham is hand feeding it. People get acclimation of routine mixed up with thinking that their chams are "tame"
Thanks for the replies guys! @skully Im sure you know this but you dont want to handle any chameleon unless its necessary. But yes, he is extremely docile when I do take him out of the cage. (Probly due to handling him everyday for administering fortaz for his URI that he had for about a month.)...
Def a male. Colors show it and so does the hemi-penal bulge at the base of the tail in the second pic. Thats how you identify a male. Females don't have a bulge and are usually more of a drab color.

I also tried to free range him out on my patio but I don't think that works to well when a chameleon can see a lot more bigger and better looking...
