Nice one! I agree that pothos would be awesome! They grow like nothing else! You could rig it up so it would climb up your wall! That would be awesome! Good luck!
Hey all!
I was just wondering what this might mean. He's recovering from an eye problem.
Found this black dot on his side yesterday and his eye looks darker than usual.
I dabbed some polysporin on the dot and around the eyes (the eyes have been getting alot better...but now this seems...
i'm going through the same trouble with my panther. my veiled went straight for bowl that I fed him from when I still had him but my panther avoids it like the plague. this is frustrating because it seems the only way to feed mealworms (too small for anything but crickets and mealwrms).

ok!
I decided to update! so i cleaned out his enclosure completely and made it into a "quarantine enclosure". very simple.
I took a Q-tip and soaked both ends with warm water. first i carefully removed the gunk. It turned out to be puss or something like that. It came off like a liquid...
he has two ferns and a pothos. i don't think it is shed as he came out of shed a week and a half ago and it was quick, easy and clean. the eye isn't round like it should be. its' a little flatter and he won't open it.
Hello,
My chameleon's eye has been looking messed up for a few days now and i've been going through some of the normal monitoring. his humidity seems fine to me and i think his lighting should be ok. the only possible problem with his lighting is a ReptiSun 10.0 rather than 5.0...that will...
i fiddled around with lights and his basking spot seems to be good. bout 97degrees in the hottest basking spot. the nightglo is just because my room drops quite low at night.
i will update with the ambient heat tonight and tomorrow when his lights are back on. thanks for the info.

My panther is keeping his right eye closed for most of the day. Both his eyes are closed for part of the time and then he always opens the left eye first and then if necessary the right eye. as soon as i realizes that there is no threat he closes the right eye again. today it looks...
for me humidity is extremely hard. I live in Winnipeg which is literally the coldest city in the world. Humidity in my house in the winter is less that 10%. Heat is no problem...but it takes enormous efforts to keep my humidity up.
I have the frame constructed, i just need to finish up...
well i don't think he's doing too badly with glass. The future inhabitant is currently in a all glass rearing enclosure…so i'll keep an eye out for it.
thanks for the advice

Hey all!
I'm designing a new enclosure and I was wondering if there could be any harm from having a glass viewing window on the front of the enclosure? The window would take up a portion of the front and everything else would be screen. Would this pose ventilation problems? (The other sides...
both my uro and my panther are in my bedroom and both sleep like rocks. My uromastyx would sleep through an earthquake and my panther has only woken up once. That was when I tripped over a box and smashed my face into the table he was on...I am hoping that won't happen again. I know people...
