Yes! They do tend to ‘slow down’ this time of year. Typically will explore less, eat less, go to bed early. All normal behavior for this time of year.

Looking back at some of OPs older postings, I think they meant 7.5 months. Back in early October, they mentioned they estimated 6 months.

I THINK that’s a tad young for a panther male to be looking for a mate. I’m more familiar with veiled chams tho so someone else can chime in here if I’m wrong. If you had your info posted here and a call with Neptune, then you’re in great shape. I would just assume mating or the season change...

My guy had MBD too. His elbows aren’t wonky but his casque is. I’ve also learned to love that about him 🥰

Have you had a husbandry review done? I know you said he hasn’t done this for 2 months, but if you are positive that everything in his enclosure is spot on then I’d say maybe looking for a mate. How old is he?

I have a ‘rotation’ of pathos. I use the double pot method in my enclosure and just swap them out when they get munched on too badly, put the new one in, and get the old one healthy again 😅

It’s been a bit since I’ve posted! I’ve still been lurking, life has just been super crazy. Had some medical issues that are finally resolving, took on a bit more at work, and just busy in general. Thought I’d give a little update on Spaghetti. He’s doing great. Still grumpy and sassy as ever...
