ropes are fine for them to climb on, but in the cage they'd get wet so much that they would start to mold. it's best to just use them outside the cage in a free range area.
regardless of whether or not you should believe people on the forums, this isn't the time or the place to discuss it. this person came here for advice on their cham, and advice was given. if they want to believe and use that, that's great. if they don't, then it sucks to say but there's nothing...
sorry but you just proved sandrachameleons point about researching in your post about having a water dish. thats at the top of the list of things not to have in your cage :(
i have a small pond out behind my house where i got some tadpoles and put them in my aquarium. i have a 30 gal and im gonna lower the water levels to keep a few of these frogs. they just lost their tails a few days ago so they're about 1/2 inch long. would they be alright to eat pinheads or FFs...
every second day after he's a year old, yep
and when they're as young as yours, you can feed them 10-12 crickets a day if they're adequately sized. depending on your local climate, (sufficient temps/humidity) a screen would work perfectly. they need good air circulation so screens are preferred...
im actually setting up a large one for an outside cage at the moment, the only problems are keeping food inside but with cup feeding it shouldnt be a problem. then again im in FL so humidity isn't a problem down here.
as cool as the creeping fig would look, i think it might spread too much to be manageable in an exoterra. i have them growing around my house and in a year they covered an 8 foot wall on one side
very good point jim, ill definitely make it wider now. space isnt an issue since ive got a large room for it.
and draetish, i was planning on putting it on a cart or stand and have it drain into there, i dont wanna cut out the height by a whole 2 feet since this is gonna be del's only big boy cage
