When is it Ideal to upgrade to Adult Caging

Thank you. I figured he was getting a bit big and since he seems to roam the cage and wants to come out every time I open the cage I guessed he wanted more room. Since I'm new to keeping chams I wasn't sure and didn't know if I should stick to guidelines. Thank you again. :)

Are Falls a Concern with Free Ranging?

Ok. Fair enough. I didn't realise they could withstand a drop like that. Thanks for the advice. :)

When is it Ideal to upgrade to Adult Caging

Currently my cham is around 5 and a 1/2 months old and already at least 12 to 13 inches long. He currently lives in a 16x16x36 cage. I am looking to increase his adult cage to either a 24x24x48 or a 18x30x30. I read that chams should be in adult cages my 8 to 10 months but he seems awefully...

Are Falls a Concern with Free Ranging?

I was thinking about creating a free range area for my chameleon since he loves to climb out of his cage everytime open his door. I am concerned though with him potentially falling. I was thinking of adding some kind of shelving under where the free range was to protect from high falls. Does...

    Safe Disinfectants

Hello! I was wondering what people used for disinfecting cham cages. I read somewhere you can use a bleach dilution if needed but I was curious if anyone knew if chorlohexidine dilution was a better option. And if so what % dilution. Thanks :)

Strange Brownish Larve in Cricket Box

Oh. Interesting. I didn't realise they had such a thing that would come in the boxes. Cool. Guess next time I'll leave them alone. Thanks all. :)

Strange Brownish Larve in Cricket Box

I pose this question to see if maybe anyone else has had this in their shipment. Today I recieve an order of 1,000 crickets. I noticed this evening I found two strange looking worms or larve in with the crickets. I tried to get a picture but it looked a bit too blurry. The larve were a...

Is Silicon or RBT Glue Safe for Crickets?

I wanted to know if anyone has used silicon glue when attaching screen to tupperware containers for crickets and if it is safe? My dad and I are trying to create a crickets container and that's what he found in his shop to use. Thank you. :)

    Attaching plants to cage

Hi. I'm new to keeping chameleons too. But I found using fishing line to be the best thing ever for attaching plants and sticks. I used a 30lb test line so it should hold up to anything my cham does. The fishing line really let me get creative with how I positioned everything.
