Thank you guys for the reply, i was just planning on getting a veiled chameleon. Im from a place in the philippines where its much cooler, humidity is pretty high, temperature is 67 to 80. Ive been in the health section of the forum for about a month now, just reading old posts, and cant help...
I was wondering, suppose you have everything perfectly set up, lighting, food and supplementation, water and humidity , is there still a big chance that a baby chameleon would get sick? assuming he's age is 3months, what is his estimated survival rate?
So i would just like to ask how many days is it safe for a 3month old veiled chameleon to be shipped? by safe i mean, the chameleon will still be healthy.
i was planning on getting the tubes, but them, the shipper told me, theres a big risk of it breaking rather than the CFL. So i suppose i will just end up using CFLs thanks for the info guys! :)
Is this okay to use aside from the normal linear fluorescent uvb? I noticed reptisun 5.0 has a linear and CFL. I was wondering aside from the manufacturing, and obviously the shape, what difference would it make to my chameleon. or would this both act equally?
