I guess we will find out this weekend. I will let you guys how it goes. And yeah guys in the states have it good, a lot of reptiles in Canada are over priced. Tokay geckos go for at least $40, frilled dragons go for $400.
I've done some research about bringing chaneleons over, and you don't need any paper work as long as your driving across the border. All lizards are okay to cross over. Turtles And birds need paper work. That's bringing them into Canada.
Your Chameleon - Male Jacksonii jacksonii, he's around a year old. I've had him for a week and half.
Handling - So far I've only handle him three times. But I hand feed him everyday.
Feeding - I hand feed him 4 medium size crickets a day and have also gave him one small hornworm last week...
Wow thanks everyone for all the information, today I went back to the reptile store and tried taking picture of the female. The owner said that they are known as "rainbow jacksons" sorry for the lighting dint want to use flash and disturb the chameleons. Tell me what you guys think, is it a female.
today I went to my local reptile store and they had two jackson's chameleon, they both had three horns but the owner said that one of them was a female. I thought only males had three horns, is it possible for a female to have three horns?
