I have noticed that around 6:30pm in the night I have noticed that my veiled closes his eye for a few seconds then opens it. Can this may be because he is wanting to sleep? He usually sleeps around this time. I live in Southern California near the beach btw

Oh I see. Ya I believe they haven't been taking care of them so well. No that's not mine that's my friends. Mine is in perfect conditions actually :) he just finished shedding today

Lately my friends have been getting baby veild chams. Unfortunately they die :( I noticed that they all had a black spot around their stomache area. When they are dead the black spot covered the whole side of the body? Can someone explain what this is?

Can someone tell me if this is a burn on Da Vinci's head? And if so how can I cure it?

I recently had this problem so what I did was that I switched the position of the basking bulb so it won't hit him directly and maybe misting a bit more wont hurt either :)

Thx for the advice and I believe it was the temp because I adjusted the bulbs and he hasn't had his mouth open so he's good now :)

Well he doesn't make any noise nor does he throw mucus. Yes I do have an analog thermometer. I will keep a closer eye and update his status in a few hours. Thx for the advice. :)
