Wow it has been awhile since I have been on here. Busy with school and work, but I realized I never introduced my new cham. She is a year old verucosus chameleon named Minnie (At the request of my Disney loving mother). She's got a wonderful personality and is one heck of a climber. She...
Thank you...
Thank you to everyone who posted on this thread. I really do appreciate all the help that you guys have given me. After an emergency vet visit early today i am sad to say that our little guy has passed away. The vet said that he wasn't sick, but wasn't digesting his food...
Ok I will totally do that. Sorry to keep asking questions, but when you mist your chams, do u mist them directly. I know our little guy hates to be misted and will move away from it. Also after closer look today, he is slightly dehydrated as his eyes have just barely begun to sink in so I was...
Ok I will do that. Ever since I got him he won't eat a lot like I said. Any suggestions for that problem? Thanks to both of you, you have eased a little bit of my worry and help a lot.
Moss is on the bottom of the cage, but in a very small quantity. Also I have been told the same thing about the crickets, but he just will not eat, and I can't figure out why. I've never had this picky of an eater. The multivitamin does contain d3 and I'm gut loading with lettuce, carrots...
Sorry, didn't mean to break the procedure, just really concerned.
My Cham: 3 month old veiled Cham (male)

Re: Thanks
Wow, 1 day on here and you have been more helpful than the local reptile store by far! I have changed the bulb (5.0) and I have lowered the wattage of the basking bulb and plan to turn it off at night now as well (This last week we have had him it has been on at night as well)...
Thanks
Thank you all so much! That sheet is great and will be very helpful. On the red light I am currently running a repti-sun 10 UVB light 12 hours a day. I am running the red light all the time to provide a basking spot, so is that ok or do I need to change that? Again thanks so much
Hi! I just recently joined the C.F. community and wanted to introduce myself and my new baby veiled cham. He is currently 2 months old and is a wonderful addition to our family. I have owned reptiles my whole life, but just recently decided to attempt to care for a more tropical species such...
