I was able to easily get the sperm plug out this morning. I coaxed him out of his enclosure with some crickets and put him in a bowl full of warm water and let him hang out in it for about 5 minutes. By then it was soft and wet enough that I could gently pull it out with some tweezers. He is...
Thanks for taking the time to reply. It looks pretty green in the picture but it is more yellow in person. I will soak it tomor. Do you recommend trying to pull it out a bit after soaking it if it doesn't come out on its own?
My veiled chameleon Malibu has something yellowish and crusty hanging out of his vent area. He is asleep now and I tried to grab it out using tweezers but it was hard and pretty stuck and I woke him up. I am leaving him alone now. But I think it is either stuck poop (if that is even possible..)...
Its been a really long time since I posted any pictures on the forum. I just recently started browsing the forums again after a few months. But anyway just thought me and Malibu would drop in and say hello.
I'm looking for more methods of getting more "crawl space" for my guy. I want hand some bamboo or some kind of branches across my screen cage. My first question is where can I buy some unique/cool (ie. not just straight sticks) branches or logs to put in the cage? My second question is once I...
Are there any vine like plants that don't require a pot or soil to grow? I'd like some plants for the top of the cage but I don't want to have to hand a potted plant like pothos from the top. I'm looking for something that I can just have at the top that will hang down or that can be wrapped...
Thank you all very much :)
3 days is not a lot of time, be patient :) just keeping working with him he will come around. I also occasionally hand feed my boy and this may have helped with him warming up to me as he learned to associate me with food/treats instead of bad things and stress...
Malibu is starting to warm up to me more and more! :D when I first got him he would never let me take him out without stress or leaving my hand in the cage for a really long time. Now he will climb onto my hand pretty quickly. Here are some photos of today's handling time. I love this dude.
Hey guys, long time no see! Haha I come to you with very few pictures :( I've just been really busy with school work and volunteer work that I just don't have time to spend taking many pictures of my Cham buddy and going through all them all to pick my favorites. I don't see myself being able to...
Yeah, its a lot of fun, shooting lots of pictures and seeing them as he grows. And thank you, he is very curious so his eyes are always moving around a lot haha
Thanks! yes, I really like the shots of eating chams, its very cool. :)
Hey Guys! long time no see!!! I know, I know, I'm a slacker!! :o I plan to post a lot more regularly from now on. As I stated before my leopard gecko, Petey, has been sick with what we thought was just an eye infection. He was prescribed eye drops which I gave him 4 times a day for a couple...
I wouldn't mind at all, the idea originally can't from another member, ReptiGeek, he had a thread as well. I'm sure he wouldn't mind :)
On another note I really need to get back to my regular posting of this thread. I have been slacking big time... I will get on that :)
