I was just curious at about what age do veiled chams reach full potential in size and color? I realize that it is probably varied for individuals, but I was just curious what some experienced keepers thought.

The only time he puffs up is when my camera is out. He just kind of looks at himself and tries to climb on the mirror instead of firing up. I thought that was kind of weird for chameleon behavior, but the fact that he is totally chill makes up for that. He is a great pet. Hands down.

When you say large, how large do you mean?

If you are using pine wood for your enclosure make sure to use a sealent of some type as the pine oil (the stuff that smells piny) is bad for reptiles and usually succumbs to moisture. I used poplar for the enclosure and fiberglass with holes drilled in it for the bottom.

hello I was wondering if Gentamicin Sulfate is the same as the Gentamicin mentioned in this post. My roommate has some Gentamicin Sulfate leftover from a kittens eye problem. I was just wondering if I could use it for my emergency kit.

A lot of people who sell chameleons ship them at night and won't ship unless the temps are above 30 F. Being that you are from Ohio and it is November that could be the problem. The fact that you have contacted them and have had no reply isn't cool though.
