    Drugstore Beetle ?????

    West Coast Central Florida... After looking at several hundred pictures on the web, the closest species beetle I can compare to this one is a "Drug Store beetle" Anybody know for sure? I get hundreds at the house....

    Yes it will block the UV unless it is specifically desiged to allow UV in. There are apecial formulas/designs of glass/plexi which allow UV in. You might want to google the topic and research where you can get the right kind.

    Hard to tell from the picture.... does it have a hard shell? Google Driscoid Roaches and compare.. But the pic really doesnt look like a Driscoid except for the wings and head.... I'm no expert.. Just a suggestion.

    Fellow Floidians!

    Love Bugs are toxic to most animals, thats why nothing eats them. I know they will kill fish a friend tried them as a feeder. From everything I have heard they should not be used as a feeder for any animals.
